@HeartBeat : Where can you find the firmware update ? I have the same problem with VGA and more, see below. \r\n\r\nI have bought the Samsung MBP200 for 500 euros, in the Frankfurt airport (Germany). \r\nI was happy as a kid when unpacking, and playing the preloaded test file. but my current experience with this product, is currently only deception. I would strongly advise about buying this product until Samsung fixes at least those bugs : \r\n\r\n- the VGA connection does not work with my MacBook Air. The MBP200 appear as an external monitor with VGA 640 x 480 at 63 Mhz, but it only display an empty grey rectangle, unless you switch off the Mac completely, then the MBP display a freezed frame of my desktop picture. There is obviously a BIG BUG that makes any VGA use impossible.\r\n\r\n- I could never managed to use the MBP200 to mount the 4gb microSD bundled card as a volume on my desktop. When connected via USB to my MacBook Air, the MBP200 mounts it's 200 Mb internal memory partition as a volume on the desktop BUT when fitted with the bundled MicroSD card, after having properly switched the setting to use the microSD card, it never mounted. THIS IS A SERIOUS BUG that makes using microSD cards cumbersome. \r\n\r\n- I have succeeded in copying a powerpoint pptx file and play it, but most fonts are garbled, which in combination with the HVGA resolution of the projected image (480 width x 320 height) makes it impossible to read anything below 24 pt. Also vector pictures appears as their rasterized blocky preview. You will have to design specific slides for this device.\r\n\r\nI am looking for support informations on the web and there is nothing but a press release and thousand of product review sites that repeat the same press release, but have not even tested the product.

Since the MPB200 is not a U.S. product, please contact a Samsung customer service representative from the country where you purchased the device and they can walk you through trouble shooting.

Hi, I got the MBP200 from korea and it is amazing and wonderfull however, I am not able to use it with the laptop to project from my laptop using the VGA cable.\r\n\r\nSometime the projection comes but corrupted image and sometime it gives and error and cause my laptop to crash and reboot. I tried with another laptop and same problem.\r\n\r\nI alo downloaded the latest firmware but still have the problem.\r\n\r\nIs there anything that I am doing wrong?\r\n\r\nIf you can not support me in here please tell me where can I get the help from.\r\n\r\nThanks

I would love one of these things. Is it possible to throw one of those projected keyboards on the back and make an OS for it. That would be a handy-dandy computer. Using flash cards instead of CD's or DVD would be cool, maybe a little pagefile-ing if I needed more memory for something. I do admit the heat dissipation may be a problem if you throw too fast of a cpu in there.

It would be great as claimed. However, do take note that such projector lumen is not good enough for decent presentation. I would be surprise if it is above 20 lumen without fan. I love the ppt and pdf functionality. Have been try to get one with that functionality. Would be useful for 2-3 person small meeting.

Does it come with or support the use of a small handheld presentation remote? I meant, one supplied by Samsung (best approach), or alternatively, one like the Keyspan Presentation Remote:\r\n\r\nhttp://www.keyspan.com/products/prus2\r\n\r\nThat is most useful for PowerPoint presentations, since it liberates you from the projector, having freedom to walk around and interact with the audience. Otherwise, you are chained-to-the-projector to move between the screens of the presentation.

File Viewer: MS PowerPoint (.ppt). WOW, WOW, WOW!!!\r\n\r\nDoes it mean that it can be used for full-blown PowerPoint presenations (transitions, animations; NOT export-as-slideshow or export-as-stream-video) using the NATIVE ".ppt" files created on Mac OS X?\r\n\r\nDoes it come with or support the use of a small handheld presentation remote?\r\n\r\nWe need thousandds for our University.\r\n\r\nThanks.
