  2. Leo Williams says:

What you did not mention is the price and how long does the lamp last, Is the lamp replacable by the consumer or it has to be sent back to Samsung

  3. Marvin says:

Realy nice stuff. But more then the price is important for me what type of connections the projector have (vga/video in/…) and if it works with battery.

I second marvin’s question concerning the connectors, in -and- out(?). Additionally, what sort of interface will it have?

  5. Mac says:

    Nice stuff,

What other file formats does it support? What picture formats?
Is the software developed by Samsung or it is the popular Picsel file viewer.

    Thanks

what file / picture formats does it support? Does it support HTML, Text and WMF, PNG formats. It is the Pixel viewer, if yes, then that is fantastic.

    When will this be available?

    Thanks

  8. Mondoxibaro says:

I don’t know The Pico Projector not natively supports OpenOffice standard file formats, and support to doument’s Microsoft. Why?

  9. Brandon says:

Any plans to make this embedded directly into a phone? If i could do that and have a bluetooth for keyboard, i would make it my next computer. especially if it also has 3G and wifi.

    • admin says:

Samsung introduced a full touch screen phone with a built-in projector named the Show. As of right now, there are no plans to launch the Show in the U.S.

  10. SaX says:

File Viewer: MS PowerPoint (.ppt). WOW, WOW, WOW!!!

Does it mean that it can be used for full-blown PowerPoint presenations (transitions, animations; NOT export-as-slideshow or export-as-stream-video) using the NATIVE “.ppt” files created on Mac OS X?

Does it come with or support the use of a small handheld presentation remote?

We need thousandds for our University.

    Thanks.

  11. SaX says:

Does it come with or support the use of a small handheld presentation remote? I meant, one supplied by Samsung (best approach), or alternatively, one like the Keyspan Presentation Remote:

    http://www.keyspan.com/products/prus2

That is most useful for PowerPoint presentations, since it liberates you from the projector, having freedom to walk around and interact with the audience. Otherwise, you are chained-to-the-projector to move between the screens of the presentation.

  12. I am from Italy and I would like to use it for my presentation. Where and when I can buy it.
    Ciao

  13. yaozong says:

It would be great as claimed. However, do take note that such projector lumen is not good enough for decent presentation. I would be surprise if it is above 20 lumen without fan. I love the ppt and pdf functionality. Have been try to get one with that functionality. Would be useful for 2-3 person small meeting.

  14. admin says:

The MPB200 is not available for purchase and we’ll have final specs closer to when the product launches, but check back for updates.

  15. george says:

when available/cost/where can one be inspected

  16. Malik says:

I would love one of these things. Is it possible to throw one of those projected keyboards on the back and make an OS for it. That would be a handy-dandy computer. Using flash cards instead of CD’s or DVD would be cool, maybe a little pagefile-ing if I needed more memory for something. I do admit the heat dissipation may be a problem if you throw too fast of a cpu in there.

  17. HeartBeat says:

Hi, I got the MBP200 from korea and it is amazing and wonderfull however, I am not able to use it with the laptop to project from my laptop using the VGA cable.

Sometime the projection comes but corrupted image and sometime it gives and error and cause my laptop to crash and reboot. I tried with another laptop and same problem.

I alo downloaded the latest firmware but still have the problem.

Is there anything that I am doing wrong?

If you can not support me in here please tell me where can I get the help from.

    Thanks

    • admin says:

Since the MPB200 is not a U.S. product, please contact a Samsung customer service representative from the country where you purchased the device and they can walk you through trouble shooting.

  18. We have seen a lot of other pico projectors in person, it would be great to do a review of this if possible?

Other than that I have heard good things.
