The Winners of Samsung Mobile's In-School Education and Recycling Program Sweepstakes Announced!

Samsung Mobile announced the winners of the sweepstakes included in its nationwide in-school education and recycling program. Samsung Mobile is pleased to announce Geneva High School in Geneva, OH is the recipient of a back-to-school concert by pop/rock band Hey Monday.  In addition, fifty schools will receive $1,000 “Green Grants” to put towards making their school more environmentally friendly.

Samsung Mobile’s eco-focused in-school education and recycling program, which ran from April 1 – June 1, educated teens about the importance and ease of mobile phone recycling. Students learned about the importance of mobile phone recycling and the impact that it can have, both environmentally and socially, and participated in activities that will allow them to educate their peers, parents and local communities.
