Samsung Electronics America Inc. announced that is has been named Everything Channel's 2009 Display Company of the Year in their Annual Report Card (ARC) survey.
For 24 years, the ARC Awards have recognized outstanding partner programs and superb vendor service, and Samsung has won this title in the Display category seven years in a row.
Samsung's channel program counts some 18,000 partners in the U.S. and 100,000 worldwide. Samsung swept all three sub-categories Technical Innovation, Support and Partnership to take home the prestigious award. Samsung Electronics America Information Technology Division also won Channel Champs for the second year in a row for the Display Category.
Winners in 18 major product categories were selected by Everything Channel's editorial team, based on the survey results of more than 5,000 systems integrators, IT consulting organizations, value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and software developers.
Samsung's Power Partner Program (P3) is a tiered partnership program that allows resellers to achieve platinum, gold, silver or bronze status in each of the desktop displays, LFD, UMPC and printer product categories.
