Fresh off Tuesday's launch of the Samsung Mondi, the powerful MID (Mobile Internet Device) is undergoing its first trials in activated Mobile WiMAX markets. On July 22nd, Ginny Mies from PC World and John Walton from PhoneDog.com got a chance to test out the Mondi in Portland, OR during a mobile tour of the downtown area. Samsung demonstrated the speed and connectivity of the WiMAX service and the device's productivity and entertainment applications.
