Samsung in the News
July 27, 2009

Samsung is up to new and exciting things every day. From new mobile phones and WiMAX devices to sustainability projects and new netbooks, Samsung is in the news all over the Web.

Sure we make a “splash” but no running around the pool!

    • MobileBurn writes that the new Samsung Comeback is “designed with messaging in mind” and the Gravity 2 has “has a bold new design that is sure to grab the attention of nearby people”. Personally, we love the frost silver cherry color of the Comeback. Dee-lish!

    • And make sure to check out SlashGear for an unboxing video.

    Faster than a speeding bullet!

    • PC World reporter Ginny Mies posted her impressions of the Samsung Mondi after receiving a live demo of the device and WiMAX service in Portland on July 22. Mies says the “ability to have faster-than-3G Internet speed on-the-go is incredibly useful.” She also mentions the Mondi “boasts a gorgeous 4.3-inch LCD touch screen, extensive video (including DivX and audio format support), preloaded GPS software and location-based services apps.”

    We Make Green Look Good.

    • FastCompany and Earth2Tech reported on our sustainability plan to cut emissions by 50% over four years. Ambitious? Check. Needed? Check.

The $500 Samsung Netbook Holds its Ground.

    • Gadgetophilia may have a humorous name, but their netbook reviews are no laughing matter. A slightly larger screen and a good processor make this notebook one to keep an eye on in the future.
