WCG Live Chat Recap
May 29, 2009

Age/Sex/Location? Not quite. Yesterday’s live chat with the cast of WCG Ultimate Gamer rocked harder than Robert Paz’s drums on Rock Band 2. And, along with the awesome cast of the show and host Joel Gourdin, we have you guys – the fans of WCG – to thank. So THANK YOU. Over 200 of you who opened up your internet browsers, logged in, and typed up some pretty insightful and impressive questions. Well done!

And what, you may or may not ask was our favorite question? Who would Mark (applesauce), Rob (Prod1gy X), Adande (sWooZie), Chelsea (Delicate [>3]), Jamal (Zophar321), Amy (Athena), and Joel (ShoryukenJoel) be if they could choose any superhero out there? You know… if they weren’t nearly superhuman already? Well, read the chat below and find out.

As for us, we’d be Super-question-posting Man. In sixty minutes, you guys gave us over 900 questions to ask the cast and Joel. Alas, we are only human. Still, some pretty choice queries made it up on the board, and we ended up with a killer interview that touched on the best way to practice for tournaments, whether listening to music really can improve your game, how to become a big time gamer in a small town environment, and just who on the cast is willing to kiss and tell...

Want to keep in touch with the cast now that the live chat’s over? You can always give them a shout out online – Athena, Jamal and Mark all shared their MySpace page at the end of the hour, Adande throwing in his Twitter account profiles at the end of the hour, and Rob sharing his webpage. From virtual fighters to virtual friends in just one online hour – see… We told you our live chat rocked.
