I agree with Harvey. If you support all those legacy lenses, especially German ones, this will be the most significant new camera in decades. \r\n\r\nA grey one wll go very nicely with my Samsung SLR, especially after my Canon winds up on eBay after this comes out. \r\n\r\nHow about a little connector on the side for a large screen to plug into (not an AV connector), and a 3CCD version later? It would make Samsung NX the new Hasselblad. Remote capture would be nice too at some point. \r\n\r\nJust one thing, though, please don't compromise the pictures, and keep your excellent sensor shift IS. Owning an S85, I know what Samsung can do. Please do it again..and again...and again. Canon and Nikon have had it too good for too long. The boat needs a bit of rocking.

I hope the backfocal distance is short enough for legacy lenses like Leica to be adapted to be used on the NX. I hope that the interface allows manual lenses with aperture rings to be metered manually. I also second the idea of internal sensor based image stabilization.\r\n\r\nThere are so many people who have Canon FD, Nikon F, Leica M and R, Pentax K and old Minolta manual lenses that want to find a body with a decent size sensor that is practical with wide angle lenses they have. The market for this is very substantial, but it also will allow you to sell these customers your zoom lenses too. since most of us have only manual prime lenses.

I do hope in-body stabilization makes its way to the NX system, but with two switches on the lens, it looks to be the stabilization would be in-lens. I hope I'm wrong, though. (AF/MF switch and zoom lock?) :)

here in the philippines , people are brand concious on choosing DSLR, i like to see sammy produce a good design from features to technologies , built-in anti shake on the body and a self anti-dust sensor and a clean high-iso sensor, in short a much better dslr to compete with the big two !

Have been hungry for rumors/news on this promising camera, so was glad for the opportunity to "geek out a little"!\r\nCould not tell from the video whether it has a flip & twist (free angle) LCD. This would be an important feature for me (and, I suspect, for many others).. It permits shooting over the heads of a crowd, or round corners, or close to the ground without having to crouch face down in the dirt!\r\nAlso eager to hear what lenses will be offered initially. Hoping for a quality "all in one" superzoom - something like 36mm to 400mm (equiv.). (Schneider design & QC, or similar quality standard, would be great - even if expensive).\r\nThanks for the Friday treat. Keep them coming!\r\nGood luck with this interesting venture!

I'm so excited over mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras. The NX already looks nicer than Panasonic's G1, but I'd still like to see one that's less plastic and more metal. Samsung uses a metal body on the NV24HD; so why not on a camera that will be a step up? I just wish you guys would think more Contax G2 and less Canon Rebel when designing these cameras.
