….and out on the town. As proof that, yes, we do get out every now and again, we snapped this photo of First Avenue, using, of course, the handy camera function on the Memoir.

Offered exclusively by T-Mobile, the Samsung Memoir is a full-touch mobile phone with an 8-megapixel camera and premium multimedia features – and it is the perfect accessory for a cinema verité experience on the streets of New York.
Even on the subway platform, the Memoir took the spotlight. Late Friday night in Brooklyn, we created an entire series of documentary segments on the record-breaking twenty-seven minute wait for the L train. Our phone was such a convincing camera, in fact, that a man came up to us afterwards and asked when our film would premier. Perhaps it was our skilled use of the Xenon flash, 16x digital zoom and five shooting modes that impressed him. Or perhaps it was our insistence on shouting “Light! Camera! Action!” at the top of our lungs…
Away from the subway, Saturday morning, we took a long and winding walk along the East River in Manhattan, snapping a series of Empire State pictures to showcase our fair city on a lovely Spring day.

As the weekend continued, we were increasingly impressed with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface and intuitive design. We loved how it automatically key-locked too, saving us embarrassing late night pocket dials, inside-the-handbag photos and the always annoying “is-this-thing-on” videos. With great power, after all, comes great responsibility… and high speed internet access, an Assisted GPS system, a slick music player, Bluetooth technology, a full-touch virtual QWERTY keyboard and multiple messaging capabilities too. Great power, it turns out, is downright awesome.
Come Sunday, we were still giddy about our Memoir, and so, as a tip of the hat to tourists, we headed to the center of it all, Times Square. A jazz band was playing, the sun was shining, and we were dancing on the corner of 42nd and Broadway. It was a moment we all wished we could remember forever… and then we realized, with the Memoir at hand, we actually could.
Lights! Camera! Action! Enjoy!
