Media 3.0: What’s Next at the Samsung Experience
April 17, 2009
The topic is Media 3.0: What’s Next? Both Newmark and Wolff bring years of forward-thinking insight and experience to the discussion table. As the founder of Craigslist.org, Craig Newmark is no stranger to the evolution of media; his Internet sensation helped transform print classifieds into interactive online listings. Michael Wolff also has a strong foundation in the ever-changing media scene, having written for Vanity Fair and New York Magazine, published The Man Who Owns the News and Burn Rate and launched two new media start-ups, including Newser.com. This Monday, the two media mavens will be on-hand to discuss and debate where media is headed as the news increasingly relocates to digital space.
Hosted by Gotham Media Ventures, a conference and information company that produces content on cutting-edge sectors of the world economy, the event should be about as ahead-of-the-curve as a Monday night can handle. And the best part? Audience participation is highly encouraged. This event is open to the public so please come with your opinions, questions and ideas to share.
