Spring at the Samsung Experience
March 27, 2009

Samsung Experience at New York City's Time Warner Center is springing into action this April - and we'll be reporting all of the hi-tech sights and sounds along the way. So no fears if you're not in the city; we'll be bringing the Experience to you, one post at a time. And if you do happen to be in our fair town of New York, stop by the Experience and get in the action.

Here are some things to expect:

  • Come join us at the Samsung Experience (or tune in to the Newsroom) this April 1 through 6 as we unveil the newest 2009 products. When we're not busy tooling around in the LED design gallery, we'll be busy taking apart some awesome products on the deconstruction runway, figuring out just how this LED business works, one tiny techno-bit at a time.

  • Then, Monday, April 20th, we'll be taking notes as Craigslist.org founder, Craig Newmark joins The Man Who Owns the News author/Vanity Fair columnist/Newser.com founder Michael Wolf talk Gotham Media Venture talk.

  • Friday, April 24th, join us in the front row for a fun learning panel way too cool for pencil protectors - with speakers from Paramount Pictures, Paley Center for Media, NYC TV Channel 25, Sound One Film Studio and University of Waterloo, an audio technology seminar never seemed more glamour. We'll be there, headshots and agents in tow.

  • After so much education, it's time for a little play; Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, the World Cyber Games are taking over the Samsung Experience. We'll be sitting ringside at the debut of the WCG Fighter Club, learning up on the mad skills it takes to dominate at Street Fighter 4, Dead or Alive 4, Soul Calibur 4, and Virtual Fighter 4. Bring your virtual brass knuckles and join us - we'll be there documenting the whole heart-pounding, thumb-aching saga.

  • Adrenaline does a body good, but sometimes a little night music can help calm the nerves for the tournaments ahead. Wednesday, April 29th the International Sejon Soloists will be present an evening of classic music, sans conductor. The group is comprised of today's leading young musicians - and the string music might be the best way to slip gently out of April, the perfect end to a month of Spring Fever. We'll be there, rapt in wonder, and resting up for the next month of action at the Samsung Experience.
