HT-BD1250 Blu-ray Home Theater System

Samsung's HT-BD1250 is an affordable, next-generation Blu-ray home theater system that can be easily integrated into any home without sacrificing a lot of space. A CES 2009 Innovations Design and Engineering Award honoree, the HT-BD1250 home theater system boasts 1,000W output and 5.1-channel surround sound with Full HD 1080p video playback. It produces life-like audio using Samsung's new crystal amplifier technology, which minimizes amplifier and power supply noise. In addition, the system uses improved speakers made from kelp. This natural, earth-friendly material has a performance advantage, reproducing sound with more detail and clearer vocals with better timing and tonal balance than chemically-treated paper cones. The HT-BD1250 also supports several HD digital audio formats, including Dobly Digital Plus TM, Dolby TrueHD TM and DTS-HD Master Audio®.

The HT-BD1250 boasts a wide array of connectivity features, all of which turn this home theater system into a powerful interactive entertainment system. Wi-Fi ready, the system supports BD-Live TM (Profile 2.0) - interactive content enabled on select Blu-ray discs - along with the streaming of Netflix movies plus access to Pandora online music service (subscriptions required). Factor in an integrated iPod® and iPhoneTM dock, as well as the ability to play files from a home networked PC and the HT-BD1250 opens the door to an expansive array of home entertainment options.

HT-BD7200 Blu-ray Home Theater System

The HT-BD7200, a CES 2009 "Best of Innovations" Award winner, is ideal for consumers seeking sophisticated décor and superior performance. It is compact enough to fit into even the smallest rooms. Despite its small size, it can deliver 400W output with simulated 5.1-channels of surround sound using its two speakers and sub-woofer. Just like the HT-BD1250, the HT-BD7200 features Samsung's crystal amplifier technology, as well as speaker units made of eco-friendly kelp.

The HT-BD7200 is a digital video device capable of harnessing the HD picture quality of Blu-ray discs. Also it is equipped with a BD-LiveTM (Profile 2.0) Blu-ray player and can stream Netflix movies and access the Pandora Internet music service (subscriptions required). The system can connect to a wireless network via an optional 802.11b/g/n USB dongle for additional convenience. For added entertainment options, the HT-BD7200 can access video, music and photo collections through a home networked PC.

The HT-BD7200 sports attractive feather-touch buttons and the alluring gloss of Samsung's charcoal grey Touch of ColorTM (ToC TM) design.
