The Samsung Memoir with Helena Christensen

The Samsung Memoir was just officially unveiled at the 2009 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. For those of you who missed the announcement last week, the Memoir is a haptic touch mobile phone that moonlights as a full-featured 8-megapixel camera (or vice versa depending on your priorities). Samsung teamed up with supermodel and photographer extraordinaire Helena Christensen (pictured) to demonstrate the mobile dynamo — be sure to follow the drop to see the pictures Christensen shot with her Memoir.

And for everyone who has been curious, we can now officially say that the Samsung Memoir will be available exclusively through T-Mobile USA for $299 beginning Feb. 25, 2009.

Just ordered my Memoir today! Waiting patiently for it to arrive! Was thinking of getting the behold, but was told the memoir was similar with a better camera. Hope the camera works well. come join me at http://www.Samsung-Memoir.com see ya.

It seems to work beautifully as a camera but how well does it work as a phone? I need a phone more than a camera but would love a camera phone.
