Despite being only slightly larger than a DVD disc, Samsung’s new DVD-H1080 is as full featured as players more than twice its size. Beneath its minimalist Touch of Color™ exterior is an engine capable of up-scaling DVDs to 720p and 1080p.
In addition to its up-scaling, the DVD-H1080 features a USB Host Play function that gives the device extensive multimedia playback capabilities, supporting popular file formats like DivX, MP3 and JPEG.
The DVD-H1080 will be available in the first half of 2009.
